Looking at several photographic/art magazines and talking about well known photographers and artists. We noticed many people featured had unusual and catchy names. We started to question whether we should adopt a name for professional work.
At the moment, we reckon it’s a good idea. I am interested to research further into the idea. Would it boost our professional profile?
Many popstars and actors have done so for various reasons (mainly because their original name was boring). I wonder if people look at you differently if you have a slightly odd name. People always look at me differently if I wear make up or change something about my appearance. The influence of image but words affects image also.
